Pancake Pajama Birthday Party

My little baby girl just turned 4 years old and we had a fun birthday party for her this year! I wanted to do something really fun for her because she I've really skipped over her birthday the past few years. My oldest has had a fun themed party every year but baby girl, MR, hasn't had one since her first birthday! So, pancakes and pajamas it is! With 23 guests RSVP'd I had to figure out a way to make all those pancakes before hand and serve them hot that day. So, I started Thursday morning and Mom and I mixed and flipped over 100 pancakes! We made 4 varieties, Buttermilk, Sprinkle, Chocolate Chip and Blueberry. After all the pancakes were made we wrapped them in stacks of 4 in foil and froze them.
Then I made all of the labels for the toppings, cakes, and drinks.
Party day all I had to do was pull out the frozen cakes and pop them in the oven! And set up the topping bar! Kids and adults had a blast decorating their pancakes and piling them high!
After all the pancakes were devoured the kids made fruit loop necklaces.
I found a great recipe for birthday cake pancakes, it uses real cake batter mixed with other ingredients to make pancakes! It tasted like white cake! It was a very fun party!
